A pressie for Olivia – mixed media; watercolour, inks, acrylics, silver leaf, gold leaf and loads of sparkles. The painting is sitting in Olivia's bedroom and I'm told there have been many night time adventure stories of George and his pals – the gold and silver leaf and sparkles kind of shimmer from the glow of the bed side light.

Description

Loved painting ‘The travels of George the Giraffe’ which was inspired by the very talented Artist, Wyanne Thompson in Atlanta of whom I have gained a great deal of inspiration from over the years with her amazing techniques and whimsical and colourful art. After I had taken some online classes with Wyanne I decided to do a kiddies painting so this was a pressie for Olivia as she loves dogs, cats and giraffes 🙂 I’ve often thought of doing a series when I get a bit more time.
