A pressie for my lovely Sister Susan. Multi-layers of inks in deep blue, turquoise and green with iridescent pearl and white spray. Size: 20cm square so small and sits on a baby wooden easle on the window ledge of Susan and George's beautiful garden room surrounded by the dramatic Welsh Hills. On a good day, the light streams through the window and is captured through the many layers of the painting, which makes it glow.
I loved creating this but it took awhile as has about 10 layers to it. The Balmain Art & Craft show featured the painting on their site for 2014 and it got to be in their promotional material too which was pretty cool.
Inks blended and dropped into multi-layers of pouring medium on a wood panel to create depth. Colour: deep blue, turquoise and green with iridescent pearl and white spray.
