Painted for the Oriel CRiC Gallery, Crickhowell, March/April 2017.
Thinking about the waterways and all the tangled reeds, grasses and flowers you come across. Natural and beautiful and something I captured in my mind so this is my little take on Iris along the river bank. It’s a bit of a chilly day but the sky is clear and there’s lots going on, it’s a good day!
Paintings are acrylic and inks on birchwood with a copper trim and are 90cm, 50cm and 30cm rounds. Hope you like x
