Description
The Green Tube is a member of the Sea Spray collection inspired by ‘Amongst the Waves’ series. My inspiration for The Tube is from beautiful surf curling and crashing towards the beach and the turquoise and green is where the sun catches the top of the wave.
I use inks captured between layers of pouring medium, which can take awhile to cure and it sort of takes on a life of its own but worth it as in the right light it shimmers and sparkles.
I’m still working on this painting as waiting for the medium to cure but just so you know it’s on a wooden panel 45cms x 50cms and the original will be for sale as well as limited edition giclée prints.
