Splash, part of the Sea Spray resin art collection

Splash is one of two Sea Sprays that I have recently finished.  Splash is set on a wooden board 20cm x 25cm, with layers of resin and inks. I’ve poured the colours in, let them do their own thing and then the next layer, painted into a little and then more layers of inks & resin, then flicked and splattered paint with a tooth brush … as one does.

The sides are finished off with silver leaf and then hung on a wooden board, which I’ve textured with molding paste and painted iridescent pearl to give it that little bit of pizzazz.
