A close up of Tropical who as from Sunday 13th has a new home. Tropical is part of the little BIG garden collection. I loved painting this and have used impasto technique for the leaves and the flowers I used a watercolour ground to give them a very different effect and to top some of the flowers, I’ve added black lava and 23karat gold leaf.
Painted on a natural linen canvas using various techniques with acrylic, watercolours, iridescent inks, black lava and gold leaf. It’s quite a striking painting and sort of glows at the top when the light catches it. It’s 91.5cms x 91.5cms

Tropical flowers – not finished yet
Just been mucking around fixing leaves and then thinking of how to fill the middle bits in of the flowers and creating tropical stamens – oh and also the sky. Anyways just sharing flowers on the journey – hope you like x
OK OK OK I’ve decided to add poppies
as opposed to just throwing paint I experimented and I reckon it’s going to work – so will post a pic of the meadow with poppies soooon
An abstract wave sort of Japanese style
Not sure about the tip of the wave but then I thought … well it’s abstract impressionism so that covers a lot of misdemeanours … so all is well.
Introducing Roaring Wales
Wasn’t sure what to call this so I thought it reminds me of a roaring wave off the Welsh Coastline so is now called Roaring Wales. This one will be framed in a white floating frame and is very excited to be soon sitting on the wall at The Breathing Colours Gallery in Balmain, Australia
