As a member of Made in Monmouthshire, I’ve got an Art stand at the Village of Artisans at Abergavenny Food Festival 2017. There will be original Sea Spray paintings, some small flower watercolours, limited edition prints and Arty Cushions, Scarves and Tote Bags. The Wild Iris Art Cushion will be there in all her glory 🙂 Hope you can make it x
This is a close up of a couple of Lillies in the painting ‘Where Lillies Dream’ It’s part of the new black & white collection which I’m currently exploring and having lots of fun with. Black & White giclee print that I’ve hand embellished with inks, 24ct gold leaf and a little touch of pink and irridescent water sparkles 🙂
Where Lillies Dream amd Exotically Black are in the new Art Exhibition at Oriel CRiC Gallery, Crickhowell. It’s a really lovely Gallery and well worth a visit.
Got quite a bit going on… as part of Made in Monmouthshire, we have a shared Art & Craft stand at the popular Abergavenny Night Market on 17th August. Then 2nd and 3rd September, I’ll be at Art in Penallt. Not been there before but it’s a beautiful setting and I’ll be taking some of my original Sea Sprays and little gardens, a number of limited edition prints as well as Art Scarves, Arty Tote Bags and Cushions.
Later in September 16th and 17th I have a stand with Made in Monmouthshire at the Abergavenny Food & Wine Festival. I have been to that but not in an art capacity. It’s a major event and brings people from afar. Had a blast last year and thoroughly enjoyed sampling the cider! I’ll be there but selling art and arty merchandise this time.

Currently working on a new black & white collection of prints. There are some pictures under Gallery section of the website but its still a work in progress!
Amongst the Waves is a collection of paintings that are from being in and amongst the sea – well my abstract take on it anyway! Â This was painted on 640gms watercolour paper and I’m about to do a limited edition of prints as love the colours and as a print you can have small or a big one or an inbetweeny one, whatever suits! The original was painted with inks using many crazy techniques from throwing, pouring, flicking and blowing. Â I can print out on canvas or high quality cotton rag paper.

Snowdrops is 21cms x 56cms and painted on 640gsm watercolour paper. Â Painted entirely with watercolour paints as I usually use lots of other mediums but have kept the painting simple. Â I was trying to capture snowdrops at St. Elli Parish Church in Llanelli for Dad. Â Hope you enjoy – now to find a frame!
this is the start of the Bluebell woods – so far I’ve painted about 5 layers that I’ve dripped, poured, flicked and thrown. Â Next will be the dark woods with some light filtering through – all is quiet, like a magical den
A close up of Tropical who as from Sunday 13th has a new home. Â Tropical is part of the little BIG garden collection. Â I loved painting this and have used impasto technique for the leaves and the flowers I used a watercolour ground to give them a very different effect and to top some of the flowers, I’ve added black lava and 23karat gold leaf.
Painted on a natural linen canvas using various techniques with acrylic, watercolours, iridescent inks, black lava and gold leaf. Â It’s quite a striking painting and sort of glows at the top when the light catches it. Â It’s 91.5cms x 91.5cms
Just sharing the little garden Arty Tote Bags, which have just arrived. Â These ones are 41cms x 41cms but we’ll be experimenting with bigger and smaller ones too. Need to sort the logo out and tweek a few things but once that’s done, we’ll be selling them online from the site (toes crossed)! Â The arty bags are created from original paintings from the little big garden collection of art.
